Matthew played well this weekend! He scored 16 points on Friday and 21 points on Saturday. He sunk six three-pointers during the game to Nyssa. Must have gotten all that athletic ability from his mother!!!!!
We're also working hard on college scholarship applications.
Although Ryan did not win his matches on Saturday, he had a great time and gained a lot of practice & knowledge in Hood River. He was put into a weight class ranging from his 77 lbs to 97 lbs. He was a little disappointed in the losses, but has a great attitude on working towards his goals. We're proud of this!
Alex traveled with the team to Gervis. Poor kid, he's ready to wrestle again - - but is troubled with a lot of pain. Those collarbones take awhile to heal! He is tackling a fund-raising idea to send money to those in Haiti....what a great kid. Tonight our family will discuss a project (at Alex's direction) that we can do together to donate to those in need. I think it may involve a pop-can recycling trip to Wal Mart, etc. We'll see what's on the agenda tonight!
Grant continues to prepare for his mission. March will come so soon, are we ready to send him to Brazil?? He will move to Salem with Dad to work at the Capitol during the month of February.
Genevieve has discovered the art of making her own greeting cards. They are way too cute! Attention Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles....you may soon receive a note from your favorite Genevieve, complete with stickers, stamps & lots of XOXOXOXOX's.
