Nate Arbogast was laid to rest today. We hope & pray for the healing of his three children and wife. We were also contacted about the death of an 11 year old in Irrigon. Our thoughts & prayers are also with the Fox family at this time.
Days like today really put things into perspective. Earthly things, problems & events come and go, but we must make sure that we know our Savior. From the many speakers today, it was apparent that Nate Arbogast knew Christ. He certainly displayed this through his words & actions in life.
As many of you know, a member of our family is attacked, almost daily, with unkind words and deeds. Others feed on this hatred. While it is certainly dismaying, I find comfort and strength in Christ. When he died for all of us, he felt every hardship that we have, and will ever feel. Completely unimaginable to me; but he experienced it all - for you and me.
For those of you who have bad days (like mine today), know that our Savior has already felt them and wants to bear our burdens for us. All you have to do is just hand them over to him.
