Picked out three new suits for Grants travels to Brazil. What a day, I thought taking Genevieve clothes shopping was chaos (just kidding Grant!).
All kids are doing very well, although Gen now has a bit of a head cold. Alex's collarbone is healing nicely, and Ryan continues to do well with his insulin pump. Hard to believe it's been almost a year since he switched from injections to a pump. We're grateful for the medical technology and research. Matt continues to do very well in basketball. I've posted a few more articles on his performance. Go Pirates!
Greg is now back in Legislative Session for the month of February. He loves serving the district and its constituents. Being able to help people, businesses & families can certainly be hard; but what a blessing to do something good for others. Public service is not always easy; but certainly rewarding! We recently had a gentleman at an event pull us off to the side and thank us for tackling a problem he was having with a government agency. I recalled the incident - and his gratefulness really touched my heart. We always try so hard to ensure that folks are not getting "run over" by the process, so hearing from this man really made our night. Sometimes you wonder if you've done any good in the world when you go to bed at night. It's times such as these that make a person smile and say "Yes - I have, and I'm going to keep doing these right things for others!”
