Hello to all!

For the past four days, I've worked 14+ hours each day......  Thanks goodness for such a GREAT staff that supports our projects!

I did however, take a lunch break to meet with a friend to discuss being co-chairs for a fundraiser benefiting Outdoor School (Ryan).  We should do very well raising funds for this important camp-out (good news!).  So......if a kiddo from HES asks you to buy a magazine......it's going to a great cause!  Once again, you'll also be able to order other items on-line (as well as magazines).  The program will begin the first week in February.

Some older news, Alex broke his collarbone at wrestling practice last week.  The poor kid!  He's still going to practice to watch and support his team mates.  It's very admirable that he's doing this, a lot of kids would have just given up....but not our Alex!  He's a Mustang all the way!

Matt, Chase and I went on a whirlwind trip to K-Falls and Corvallis.  I loved OSU - but think the two of them really "clicked" with the campus of OIT.  We found out that Matt has already been awarded the OIT Silver Scholarship for academics.  We'll just have to wait and see which college he chooses (as an aside, four men in my home are having heart attacks that Matt wants to be a Beaver and not a Duck!).

Saturday is the big day for Grant!!!!!

Ryan's first meet is tomorrow (actually, it's a few minutes after midnight - - -  so it's today).  He'll wrestle in Mt. Vernon.  Genevieve will be dancing to  a Miley Cyrus song on Saturday during the 1/2 time show at HHS.  Matt plays at RHS on Friday and is in Burns on Saturday.

For all those interested; hopefully we will be holding a Family Home Evening at the Willow Creek Branch LDS Chapel in Lexington on Monday.  Our hope is to use some Relief Society funds to purchase products for a humanitarian project to send personal-care products to survivors in Haiti.   Hopefully we can send several packages to those who are in need.  The news stated that over 1/3 of over 9 Million people have been left with nothing.  If you can help, please call and let me know!  I will post a time to meet at the chapel tomorrow once I speak with President Waite.

Help us prepare these vital packages to those who are greatly in need of them on Monday!
