So I go to download the videos taken at last nights concert.....when all I can hear is Alex singing! Ha ha! He is holding the camera in a way so that I can (basically) only hear his voice on the recording. Way, way too funny! What can he say; he likes the music of Journey! When he's not singing on the film, he's humming very loudly.
Truth be told, I was not looking forward to the concert. Gen was upset that it wasn't going to be of "Broadway" caliber (she really, really misses Mrs. Stone and the programs they use to put on). Even worse was that Ryan reported that the teacher told their choir that they didn't sing the Journey song "good enough", so they would only be doing one song. Talk about those kids feeling defeated before they even arrived! So glad the teacher changed his mind and let them sing another set. And for the record, Genevieve's class did just awesome. They sang songs from The Wizard of Oz and Oregon My Oregon. Note to teachers; give encouragement, not just criticism (please!!!). Ryan didn't even want to perform after being told they were so bad. Also for the record, they too did a great job.

I spent yet another 4 1/2 hours in oral surgery today...yuck! However, when I arrived home, I had these on my doorstep with a note saying "I hope you feel better. Love Greg."

How sweet is that? That man just amazes me each day! He is in the middle of session, and he remembers to keep track of my woes (and yes.....I am miserable after these appointments!). All I want is an ice pack and a good book (but flowers are always accepted!).
And important news....our niece has now decided to be baptized. How awesome is that???? We will all be in Burns to welcome her into the church. Life is good.
