This weekend is the big one for Doug & Heather. Genevieve is the flower girl; Greg is also in the wedding party. We'll also get the chance to spend some time in Scappoose with Grandma Germain. Grant is flying home on Saturday...can't wait to give that kid a great, big hug!
Alex was Student of the Month in Algebra (way to go Alex!). The certificate finally made it out of the dreaded, dark locker room....and is below. We're proud of Alex working so hard in school. As a Freshman, he has already passed the requirements for graduation in Math (actually exceeded). In addition, he did very well at his wrestling meet in John Day last weekend. He did the "milkshake" move.....
Matthew has just been doing outstanding in basketball. Riverside won the Ione tourney, and he has been the leading scorer in almost all of the games. Great way to spend his senior year!!! Can't wait to hear back on his application to OSU.
Ryan and Gen are doing well in school. Genevieve is excited for the wedding (she just loves that "crazy Aunt Heather"). She is also excited for the big guy in red to come. Ryan just keeps repeating "All I want for Christmas is Madden 2010". With Ryan's 12th birthday approaching, he is excited to become a Deacon. He's really looking forward to being sustained and having the ability to pass the sacrament.
Greg and I are busy doing what we do best....work, work, work. It will be nice to take a break this weekend and enjoy family time in Portland.
